Day 5 - Santa Maria to Lompoc (43 miles)
Today we had a very different day—we were Roadies!! We picked up trash and tent tags, loaded tents, rode in the gear truck formation (which you may have seen go viral on TikTok this week), and unloaded luggage and tents. In 2020, we registered as Roadies, but the ride was cancelled due to Covid. I’m so glad we got a small taste of Roadie life today with the incredible Gear & Tent team!! This is the team that loads, transports, and unloads our gear all week so we can ride bikes.
