One of the hardest days on the ride with lots of climbing cyclists aren’t warned about, Day 1 takes us from the foggy Cow Palace in Daly City to sunny Santa Cruz. Our path is along the coast, with stops in always-wet Pacifica and lunch on San Gregorio State Beach.

Seth, also known as Condom or Viagra Man, dons costumes long the route to keep our spirits high. Usually, he has a funny saying to go along with the outfit.
We get lots of support throughout the ride from locals. Part of our mission is to bring a positive impact the communities we ride through.
Day 1 is full of lush forests, redwoods, and steep climbs they don't warn you about.
